Chiyo has had 19 restore and 16 commune in HM for as long as i can remember which made vanquishing available areas of Cantha fun . Now what of channeling...testing must be done.

Pretty decent update imo, once i start feeling better ill have to test CA but my expectations are still low due not to the design of CA but the mindset of PVP'ers everywhere.

I think this might answer your question... its at the very bottom of the update

"In Factions hard mode, Devona will still use "Charge!".

DP Nerf-Mountains is now more annoying than before. Have to have a decent ping and be on time to cast SF.

Not sure what else has really affected uwsc.
mnts not affected, just did few times, got from 8 to 12 min.

See, to keep people interested you need to have a goal.
Remove the title, what's the goal of SD?
I believe it'll be nothing that you can measure.

It would be so simple to keep people playing over and over and really interested.
_GIVE REWARDS_
What if they told you, for a 25 win streak (which takes much much longer and happens less frequently than HA runs) you get sent to open the Chest of Honor?
Or let's say they make that every 10 or 15 win streak?
Wouldn't that spark some interest in the format?

What if they put in global announcements, like: "W, X, Y, and Z have won a battle in the Codex Arena/Tournament"

That would spark some interest similar to what HA has now without modifying the current state of CA/SD.

Think what would happen to HA without the title.
What would happen if you leave the title but remove the rewards?
What would happen if you remove the /rank emote?

I hope you see my point.

IMO, put in a new emote. Remove the 1 pt each 5 wins (but of course adjust track accordingly), give rewards (an anything can drop chest?) after X qty of battles. This would keep it going on for much longer and keep people interested in it more than anything else they do to the format.

The format is *good* or *acceptable* or just *fun* but it needs rewards other than just a title or just fun.

Custome Brawl is now live.

They changed the skillbars......Rit is nowhere as good as it was, ranger is bit crappy, warrior is hammer war, quite good! Monk has ray of judgement.

Overall, the builds seem pretty nicely balanced, however i expect that many people will take the easy palm strike sin combo.

"Something stirs deep in the Underworld, slowly making its presence known."

Everyone is so busy celebrating the end of UWSC that they miss the fact that this might be the beginning of a large change in the area. Rather than nerf SF they might just make the elite areas beyond their reach...

Isn't the 19/16 referring to Chiyo's atts as an ally in Vizunah Square? If you get an all-hench party from one side, they get their stats absurdly buffed in HM.

If not that, Chiyo can also be found in explorable on that "follow mhenlo around" quest, which she might be inadvertently buffed for in HM.

an update for chambers - was running bounty and when i finished i decided to kill a few bladed aatxe out of boredom on path to vale. Reaper died while i was killing those aatxe on route to vale, all my customers have left so no one aggroed to reaper. Most probably died to the dryders/vengeful aatxes from the spawn pt back to chambers as i didn't bother with them (went to vale part to attack the keeper there instead) Did it without bu at that time so i took some time at that part, not sure if time has any effect on this.

Didn't have a ss...forget to ss it

Now all we need is VERY comprehensive skill update (death to SF anyone?) and then alot of the UW updates will actually matter. Still, I'm wondering if this is about preparation for the new Halloween quests more than trying to reduce UWSC, which was just a side reason.

Another reason for a much more comprehensive skill/profession update is the codex arena. Whats the point in being forced to use a select pool of skills/elites if several of them are absolutely worthless or behind the times? Hopefully between now and Wintersday we'll see something major.

The henchman skill update looks good, but obviously wasn't necessary if even I could muscle through the whole game NM and HM with a crap derv build, SAB heroes, and whatever henchmen I thought would do me best. In fact, a few of the skill updates look dumb, such as removing choking gas which had some usefulness.

2ndary skills to henchmen in EOTN is stupid. Since when did they ascend? Can we take them into UW now? Sorry, I'm just stuck on the lore perspective and how they can do this for such a small and almost insignificant part of the game. The game is NOT hard, there's no need to add secondary skills only to EOTN henchmen and any time they wasted doing this instead of just adding EOTN normal skills to them seems pathetic to me.
